Hey welcome to my site, I'm interested in films, books, very slow running so I thought I'd document that here!
Everything watched, read, run and shipped, in order, on one strip. Drag it through the gate.
Fuck this hit me soo much harder second time around. I love this film so much. Renate is absolutely unbelievable and Julie is so frustratingly relatable while also being so aloof at times. I don't know any other film that captures that sense of impossibility in knowing what you want, what you want to be, who you want, who you want to be. Those "not" cheating scenes at the wedding are some of my favourite scenes ever

Tom is incredibly good in this, the sound is really amazing, cinematography is great, and some really funny moments. But god is it hitting you over the head with it's message

Grand yeah. Sessa Is really good and stavvy very well cast.
The whole thing felt a bit lacking to me, fairly run of the mill coming of age (or whatever that German word was) from the point of view of a dickhead, which Bourdain definitely was at this point.
Really beautifully shot and utterly engrossing. Very slow paced but there's always something on screen to focus or dwell on. For so much of the film she's talked and barely if ever asked a question in return

I really hate that I liked this so much. Woody's character is not very likable and the whole thing is quite masturbatory (I guess thats the point).
Diane Keaton is absolutely great and I really loved a lot of the cool shit they did in this the 4th wall breaking, the inner monologues, subtitles etc
I really loved this. Such great fun, the most I've laughed at a film in a good while. Four really great performances I thought, especially from two of my favourites Norton and Penelope.
Felt very unique and beautifully charming. Also I would absolutely kill for an apartment like that
Very cool

So beautifully shot, being a teenage girl seems like absolute hell, love some catholic guilt, the head of the choir was such a cunt

Pretty terrible apart from Penelope. Not much happens, the Americans are very annoying, Woody is a bad guy

Me encanta los mundos de Almodóvar, los colores, la música, los caracteres, la humanidad. También creo que Penélope Cruz es la mujer más guapa en historia

I absolutely love how warm this film feels, the colours, everyone's outfits, the changing seasons. Very jealous of those apartments
